We are blessed!
Hey there, church!
I gotta tell you, we are so fortunate to live in the day and age in which we live!
With a pandemic virus sweeping the globe, many people are practicing self-isolation and social distancing strategies to avoid spreading the contagion further. These restrictions put the church in a strange position, one that we've never faced before:
We can't physically meet together for the time being.
But, this is precisely why it's such a blessed thing that we live in this age! The power of our modern technology allows us to continue the activities of the church as laid out in Acts 2:42 - "And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer."
Even if we can't physically meet together, we can still enjoy one another's company through digital platforms! Below I've listed a few different platforms that our church can leverage to continue meeting together as we navigate this colossal shift in our lives!
Love you all, Hope to see you in cyberspace!
Discord is a free software that allows users to set up custom servers and groups to communicate together via messages, voice calling, and video calling. Our church has a group all set up and ready to go, all you have to do is create your discord account and download the free app, and boom, you're connected with the church! Click below to join us!
Skype is a free video-messaging service that allows 1 on 1 video calls from one user to another. It's an extremely popular service that pioneered face-to-face digital interaction. Setting up an account is easy and we recommend leveraging this service as a way to reach out to each other one on one!
